Sorry everyone - so long since the last post. It's been a very busy week. Here's a a bit of catch up..
I left London on Sunday from Liverpool Street Station.
This is the Kindertransport Statue to commemorate the children removed from London during the Blitz from this station. It's a huge station incorporating above ground trains and the underground. I was a couple of hours early and had time to look around. It was pretty challenging going to the loo with a very heavy suitcase! Up and down flights of stairs, difficult.
Lunch - the options here are fantastic. This was Vietnamese pork crystal rolls with a dipping sauce. No comment required for the Belgian chocolate coated nuts.
London was fantastic but it is really hectic so I was pretty glad to be moving on into the countryside.
