Crazies Hill 20 September 2015

Isn't that a great name? Nobody will forget where you live.

It was a cold and misty morning - autumn is definitely in the air. I managed to find Wargrave without too many problems - getting quite good at this solo navigation and much more confident about just driving and not worrying too much about getting lost.

I met up with the Windsor Group and off we went to Bottom Boles Wood - such lovely names. On the way we came across some horses and a man walking his dogs. One of them just wanted to play but the others were much better behaved.

Then through the Village of Crazies Hill and into the woods. There were some interesting spider webs. Didn't see the spider though.

In the woods we came across Rebecca's Well - it used to be called Rebra's Well but the powers that be decided that it was too pagan so they changed the name.

Not a very good picture but the light was just weird.

So that was it - a short 5 mile walk. Ha! 5 Miles is good going for me. The test will be whether I can still walk up the mountain in December.
